Great to have found this garage. I had an aging Jaguar and which was starting to have numerous problems and they were very helpful in providing repairs for a reasonable price that kept it going. Eventually the car would no longer go into reverse. They checked the cause and eventually determined that it wasn't just a minor problem and that the cost of the repair would be more than the car was worth -- and they didn't even charge for checking!

I called up to check if they sell tires since I had a nail in a rear one. Funny enough, they don’t even do tires normally, but by coincidence, they had the exact one I needed. They sorted it out for me, including labour, at a great price. Honestly, the speed was incredible-- my car was sorted within an hour of the call. Huge shoutout to Sebastian too-- absolute top geezer and made it all happen so fast. Would recommend.

I can't thank C & E motors enough for identifying the problem when my car was screeching. A different local garage had quoted over £1,000 to replace the clutch but without guaranteeing that it would solve the problem. I took it to C&E after recommendations from friends and they immediately worked out that the car needed a new battery (also replacing a pollen filter which was 10 years old while he was at it). They were right, and the issue is solved and I'm so grateful. I've always dreaded going to garages but this was a different experience and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

Such a helpful team. I phoned on Monday morning about a run flat tyre with a nail in it. They sourced a replacement, called me to confirm that had it and fitted the new tyre while I waited, that afternoon. Highly recommended - and really nice people, too.

However, within minutes of meeting the team I was completely reassured that I had found a top-notch technical team that exuded professionalism, confidence and total integrity. These are rare qualities, in my experience, in the car maintenance and repair sector. The MOT was completed and a faulty tyre valve was detected and replaced without fuss.
